The Akron Pops Orchestra and Silent Movie Family Concert will be playing at the Akron Civic Theatre for one night only on April 21 at 4:00 PM. The Akron Pops Orchestra will perform music from your families favorite blockbuster films, concluding with the orchestra playing alongside the silent film “The Haunted House”, a Buster Keaton comedy from 1921, starring Virginia Fox and Joe Roberts. Performing waltzes and authentic music featured in silent films from around 1914, Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D Minor and organ music will also be featured to bring this Keaton classic to life! Join us for an evening of dinosaurs, wizards, space travel, thrills, chills, and comedy, performing only April 21st at 4:00pm!
